Welcome to my blog!
My name is Katy and I am a location lifestyle photographer. I have been a photographer for the past 6 years. I have photographed over 70 wedding as well as countless newborns, children, high school seniors, families and pregnant women. My knowledge about the camera comes from many avenues. My technical knowledge comes from Boise State University and the New York Institute of Photography. I also attend many conventions and seminars to keep me updated on all the current trends. All of this and many years of experimenting and pushing my creativity has gotten my work to where it is today. I believe that photography is an art and I attempt to capture emotion with every image. On a more personal note, I have a wonderful husband of four years and a St. Bernard named Barley.
